The Many Lives of Sepp Spiel

Sepp Spiel lives as a mountain farmer, hunter and community volunteer on Lake Tegernsee. As the bass trumpeter with the Tegernseer Tanzlmusi, he also loves to make a joyful racket.

We accompany this jack-of-all-trades through his homeland.

Sepp Spiel needs four different outfits for his many roles. He fills each of them with heart and soul. His body is sturdy and well-built, as they say in Bavaria, and there is every reason to assume the same is true of his character. He has a moustache and green eyes that sparkle with the mischievous delight of a child who has just pulled off a successful prank. And there is always a hat on his head. Underneath it: not much hair.

He owns several pairs of lederhosen, a garment he was practically born into 40 years ago in the hamlet of Kerschlach near Weilheim. He wears them in everyday life as well as on stage, where he plays bass trumpet with the Tegernseer Tanzlmusi.
